Slash corporation tax to 10% to beat avoidance, says MP

Charlie Elphicke MP calls for tax cuts in new Free Enterprise Group paper

 

The Telegraph features the Free Enterprise Groups suggestions to slash corporation tax to 10% from its current 23% rate. The Free Enterprise Group, consisting of 40 senior Conservatives, think that reducing and simplifying tax rates will make it easier to crack down on tax evading multinational companies. In turn, UK businesses who cannot evade taxation easily will longer have to carry the brunt of the tax burden.
